94: Website Design for Podcasters with Brenden Mulligan of Podpage

You’re a podcaster, not a website designer. But you still need a powerful website for your podcast!

If you’re just starting out and you’re on a tight budget, you can always use the free webpage that comes with your podcast hosting provider. But these give you pretty much zero customization and no features beyond a listing of your episodes. Google also doesn’t recognize these pages as domain authorities. You need something more powerful.

My guest today is Brenden Mulligan, the founder of Podpage. We discuss:

  • What podcasters really need in a podcast website

  • When you might want to put your podcast on a blog on your own website vs use a standalone website

  • Why SEO for your podcast website is truly so important (do not ignore this!)

  • The many features that Podpage offers

  • How beautiful and easy Podpage is to use

Note: I do promote Podpage in this episode. But the link below is not an affiliate link, and the episode is not an infomercial because we do chat about podcast website design in general, as well! I simply love Podpage and want y’all to learn more about it.
